I use a three-tiered approach:

Tier 1: Resolve any presenting symptoms or problems (such as pain, sleep disruption, hormonal imbalances, allergy symptoms, etc.)

Tier 2: Find and resolve the underlying cause(s) for the presenting symptoms.

Tier 3: Support the body's various healing systems (immune, circulatory, endocrine, etc.) so the condition does not repeat and the entire body system is stronger and functions better.

Catharine Walkinshaw is a Washington State Certified Counselor, an Herbal Consultant, and a Master Reiki Practitioner. She was trained in the Usui Ichi Sekai method of natural healing from Japan. She is a graduate of the University of Colorado, Tacoma Community College, and Bellevue Community College (in botany and professional herbalist certification programs). She is a member of the American Herbalists Guild, the International Association of Reiki Professionals, and the Washington Professional Counselors Association.

 

Catharine lives in Eatonville, Washington, with her family, where she has operated a private health consulting business for over 12 years. She has also worked under contract for Multicare Health Systems Home Health and Hospice and for Pierce County Aging and Long Term Care, providing healing reiki sessions to many patients and clients for over 11 years.
